labyrinth

The labyrinth is an ancient meditation tool and symbol that speaks to our wholeness. Walking the meandering path of the labyrinth takes us on a spiritual journey to our center. The labyrinth creates a sacred space where we can let go of ego and distractions which clutter the mind and take a meditative passage inward. The Labyrinth is a metaphor for life’s journey.

About this course

  • Am I happy?
  • Do I accept myself fully for who and what I am?
  • What inspires me?
  • If this were the last moment of my life, would I have any regrets?
  • Could I change this outcome if I act now?
  • Do I have the courage to take this journey?

Do any of these questions resonate with you? Have you identified a yearning within you for something that seems fundamentally missing in your life? If so, then you are already on your journey towards the center of who you really are.

It’s natural to feel some fear or discomfort when delving inward and confronting issues we’ve kept ‘hidden in the dark’ as we tend to seek security and comfort zones.

It takes courage to genuinely explore who we are. As human beings, we have a tendency to hide from our own fears. However if we suppress them, symptoms always re-emerge and we can never truly be at peace. This course is an aid to take this courageous journey. However, if you are facing a crisis in your life, please take steps to find appropriate help and do not rely on this course alone to provide the solution.

Life is a meandering journey. Just like the labyrinth, it has its ups and downs. Just when we think we are headed in one direction, we may discover we are actually going in another. Life’s sacred journey is all about growing, making mistakes, learning from them and in the process discovering we are ever flowing towards our centre.

Our journey is about facing challenges, and fears and thereby discovering our true selves.

We are here to follow our bliss and manifest it in everyday reality. Be-ing is not about yearning, dreams and goals set in the future which we may not even be around
to experience. We live right now! We need to be in touch with that which makes us whole and which inspires the best in us.

The advice of great spiritual teachers’ is always the same; uncovering the jewel of whom we truly are depends totally on us. The teachings of the various spiritual traditions provide guidelines but the journey is a solitary one. The fruits of our labour come from our own hard work. What we put in, is what we get out. Any teaching is but a compass to point us in the right direction.

This course is an aid to help create a structure and framework to launch this journey. Participate in this course on your own or in a group as a means of bringing awareness.
